Director of Fraud Analytics
Location: Remote, U.S. (no sponsorship available)
Oversee the full fraud strategy for a consumer credit card portfolio, with ownership of the fraud P&L and responsibility for balancing risk mitigation, customer trust, and business growth.
Lead and mentor a team of analysts, promoting analytical rigor, innovation, and continuous improvement in fraud prevention.
Develop and enhance fraud controls across all customer touchpoints (from onboarding and authentication to account and transaction monitoring).
Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Ops to ensure new features and launches are designed with strong fraud defenses in place.
Communicate key insights, emerging risks, and strategic initiatives to senior leadership, influencing priorities and investment decisions.
Qualifications: 7+ years in fraud or risk analytics (including 3+ years managing teams), advanced analytical/technical skills (SQL, Python), and expertise in areas like application, ATO, payment, or transaction fraud.
Preferred: Experience scaling fraud operations and working with third-party tools, data providers, or vendors in a high-growth fintech environment.
